The Corcoran Group, announced today that Andrew Feldman is joining the firm. Feldman will be affiliated with Corcoran's East Side office on Madison Avenue, led by Senior Managing Directors Helen Monti and Tim Rettaliata. 

Feldman, who joins Corcoran from Compass, has over twenty years of extensive experience in the real estate industry. Having started his career in the commercial sector before shifting to residential and new development sales, he has achieved over $500M in lifetime transactions. Whether working with buyers or sellers, Feldman uses his keen negotiation skills to ensure his clients always receive the best deal. Always interested in going beyond, Feldman also leads the charge in adopting new industry technology to grow his business and service his clients.

Industry Veteran Joins Compass Sales Team in the Hamptons

Last year, Compass was involved in approximately 30.0 percent of all residential real estate transactions at or above $10 million in the Hamptons, totaling  $2.84 billion in transaction volume. Joining Compass in the Hamptons to aid in this substantial presence within the ultra-luxury market is industry veteran and respected local executive Charles Manger. Manger joins Compass following an extensive career in the financial and real estate industries, previously establishing NYC-based Brown Harris Stevens as a brokerage on the East End and serving as a board member for the Hamptons and North Fork Realtors’ Association.

Two large Compass teams jump to SERHANT

SERHANT., a multidimensional real estate brokerage that sits at the intersection of media, entertainment, education and technology, today announced that The Palanca Team and the Bogard New York Team, both formerly of Compass, have joined the firm.  Inclusive of both teams, a total of 30 agents have committed to joining SERHANT. in the first few weeks of the new year, representing 35% growth in the first month of the new year.

The Palanca Team focuses on the Brooklyn real estate market and was founded five years ago by 10-year industry veteran and Brooklyn native Abigail Palanca.  Since its inception, the team has closed over $245 million in total sales volume and completed $110 million in sales in 2021 alone.  Members of The Palanca Team include: seasoned real estate agent Courtney Smelter; Nicole Bilu, an active real estate agent and entrepreneur who owns the Goodroom and GoodBar in Greenpoint, and the boutique hotel the Glen Falls House in the Catskills; and Malika Rose, a former professional tennis player.

Jessica White Joins Corcoran After 5 Years At Compass

The Corcoran Group,announced that top broker and Brooklyn market expert, Jessica White, has returned to Corcoran.  An announcement of the move was made by Pamela Liebman, Corcoran’s President and CEO.

White, who has career sales volume of over $100M, will now be affiliated with Corcoran’s Williamsburg office. Most recently, she was a top agent at Compass, but White’s successful real estate career began in 2014 when she closed $40M in her first 18 months in the business. Over the seven years that have followed as an agent, including her time at Corcoran, White has honed her experience working with buyers and sellers across a broad range of properties, from multifamily listings to new development properties. 

Adept at all sides of the business, she confidently undertook her first development project four years ago, helping a  developer acquire land in Brooklyn for $760K. The developer built eight condo units and achieved a $4.5M sell-out.  White exceeded all expectations on the project, securing more than $1K per square foot, effectively shattering the ceiling for Bushwick pricing. Fast forward to 2020, she acquired another project with the same developer, this time on a much larger scale with more than double the number of units. Once again, White showed her resilience and strategic mindset, selling all 18 units amidst a global pandemic in just eight short months, once again raising the price per square foot in Bushwick, achieving $1,100 per square foot on a two-bedroom listing in the building.

Kelly Killoren Bensimon, former Real Housewives star, is stepping out on her own in real estate and launching her own portfolio of listings at Douglas Elliman. Just this year, Bensimon has sold $70 million worth of property and has another $90 million in current and off-market listings in New York City, the Hamptons and Florida.

She also has a listing in Paris, where she is a marketing advisor for this spectacular apartment in the 6th arrondissment in Paris. 5 rue AUGUSTE COMTE is currently on the market for $10,565,997.

Compass, has announced the arrival of a dynamic duo—Maria Velazquez and Davina Arroyave.

The veteran Velazquez team specializes in selling luxury homes in New York City and Florida and routinely represents international buyers, working on everything from new developments to bulk investment sales.

Maria is no stranger to headlines, having worked on impressive deals, including a bulk sale of over $40 million at 15 Willams Street and multiple units at 60 Riverside, paid in cash by investors who scored deals—accounting for 25 percent of sales in the building. 

Before Compass, Maria was a top agent at Douglas Elliman but decided to join Compass for its innovative digital tools. For example, Compass Lens launched last year and is an Al-powered tool that allows homeowners to envision what homes would look like with cosmetic upgrades to maximize their value.
