Summer Cocktails To Try Before Labor Day

Now that Summer is coming to an end, we’ve rounded up some our favorite Summer drinks that you won’t want to miss out on.. Not sure what to drink? Don’t worry we’ve compiled a list of drinks so refreshing it is like Summer in a glass.

From vodka, tequila, gin, rum and many more– we've rounded up the most spring like cocktails to enjoy these final Summer days.


Rooftop Negroni

  •    1 oz Martini Bitter

  •    1 oz Martini Rubino

  •    1 oz Bombay Sapphire

  •    Lemon Peel

 

Combine the bitter, rubino, and gin in a mixing glass filled with ice and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a glass over ice and garnish with a lemon peel.


Chandon Garden Spritz 

The Garden Spritz is a naturally delicious balance of bubbles, bitters, and botanicals. It’s made from a subtly sweet house-made ‘garden liqueur’ that is authentically handcrafted by Chandon’s winemaking team in Argentina using locally sourced, handpicked Valencia oranges, fresh herbs, and spices.


Mexican Negroni

  • 1oz Volcán De Mi Tierra Tequila Blanco

  • 1oz mL Campari

  • 1oz mL sweet vermouth


Kiwi’s Knees

  • 2 oz kiwifruit-infused Broken Shed Vodka (recipe follows)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz manuka honey syrup

  • 1 pinch pink salt

Add ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake and double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass. No garnish.

Kiwifruit-infused Vodka (500 grams fresh kiwifruit, 750 ml Broken Shed Vodka)

Cut the kiwifruit into cubes and place in a glass container. Gently muddle the kiwifruit, cover with Broken Shed Vodka, and let sit at room temperature for 4 days, stirring occasionally. Strain through a cheesecloth-lined sieve back into your original bottle, and store in the fridge for up to two weeks.


Lemon Lo-Jito

  • 1 ½ part Plume & Petal Lemon Drive

  • ½ part St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

  • ¼ part lemon juice

  • 2 parts club soda

  • 5 mint leaves

  • Garnish: mint

  • Glass: Stemless WineBuild with crushed ice and garnish with mint sprigs in a traditional julep cup.

Directions: Softly muddle mint in a shaking tin. Add ice and all ingredients except soda. Shake softly and dump into a glass. Top with club soda and garnish. 

For group serve: Directions: In a large container, combine all liquid ingredients, except club soda. Bruise the mint leaves by slapping them between your palms, and drop them in. Stir and refrigerate until chilled. Just before serving, pour into a large punch bowl, top with a splash of soda, and stir in ice. Garnish the bowl with floating lemon wheel slices and mint leaves.


Sunset Rose

  • 3 oz Whispering Angel

  • 1.5 oz Belvedere Vodka

  • .5 oz Lime Juice

  • .25 oz Honey Water

  • 3 Blackberries

  • Garnish with Mint Sprig

Place Blackberries into shaker and muddle. Add remaining ingredients into shaker except the Rosé. Shake with ice and strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with Rosé and garnish with Mint.


Woodford Reserve Spire

  • 1.5 OZ. Woodford Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey

  • 2 OZ. Lemonade

  • 1 OZ. Cranberry Juice

Add ingredients to mixing glass and stir. Pour over ice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
