VIP attended Sir Henri for a winter escape as they enjoyed festive cocktails and light bites. Located high atop Hotel Henri in the Flatiron District, Sir Henri pays homage to the speakeasies of yesteryear in a gorgeous setting made for today. Guests were greeted with Moet & Chandon champagne and then got the opportunity to sample signature cocktails like the Margaretha Franklin, Gin Martin and Nina Cinnamon Old Fashion complemented by shrimp tacos, chicken wings, sliders and a trio of dips with warm pita bread. The penthouse rooftop is open year round beginning at 5pm for hotel guests, locals and visitors from around the world.

NISS Dinner with Peter Gelb, Angel Blue, Anthony Roth Costanzo

Peter Gelb of the Metropolitan Opera was honored at the National Institute of Social Science's 105th Gold Medal Dinner on Thursday, December 5 at The Metropolitan Club. Angel Blue of Porgy and Bess and Anthony Roth Costanzo of Philip Glass's Akhnaten also attended. Paul Edward Farmer was honored.

Santa's Big Helper WTF Waffle & The Holiday Cubano Are Featured Menu Items at Clinton Hall This Month

Executive Chef Darryl Harmon, Santa's Big Helper WTF Waffle was just featured on The Cooking Channel's show, Christmas Chowdown. Friends of the chef attended Clitnon Hall to watch the dessert get it’s grand debut and even had some bites itself. Patrons were seen trying specialty cocktails and playing classing games at the festive bar & restaurant.

The American Hospital of Paris Foundation held a festive Gala at the Metropolitan Club in New York City benefiting the Hospital. The Gala honored Mr. Michel David-Weill, longtime supporter and Board member of the organization for his pivotal role in creating lasting relationships among American and French counterparts.

200 guests hailing from Houston, Palm Beach, New York and Paris enjoyed a lively cocktail hour followed by dinner, an award presentation and remarks, a performance by a violinist and a silent auction of luxury items. Dinner Chairman Donna Chapman led the Foundation’s Gala with Co-Chair Kitty Resor benefiting the American Hospital of Paris. The Hospital is a unique institution in France that has, for over a century, been the meeting ground for the shared collaboration of French and U.S. medical exchange, science and excellence.

Kick Off Celebration Of The 65th Viennese Opera Ball

The Viennese Opera Ball announced their upcoming gala at the Upper East Side residence of Sabine Riglos, a board member. “The Viennese Opera Ball is one of the highlights of the annual charity season for Austrian Americans, with performances by extraordinary opera singers and musicans” explained artistic director Daniel Serafin as he introduced mezzo soprano Nicole Piccolomini, who sing “L'amour est un oiseau rebelle” from Carmen. " Juilliard violinist Anastasiia Mazurok also performed a solo by Bach.

The 65th Viennese Opera Ball will take place on February 7, 2020

According to Page 6 Jamie Foxx was seen partying till 5 A.M. at Brooklyn Chop House, where “he stayed till 5 a.m. and left a $2,000 tip.” Restaurateur Stratis Morfogen and owner of Brooklyn Chop House recently appeared on Million Dollar Listings New York where he worked with agent Steve Gold.

Thursday night French Heritage Society honoredr Geoffrey Bradfield and Margaret and Gregory Hedberg at their annual New York Gala - The Black & White Ball - on Thursday, November 21st at a private club in Manhattan. Gala Chairmen are Cece Black, Jean Doyen de Montaillou, Michael A. Kovner, Jay R. Paul, Jean Shafiroff, and Ann Van Ness. French Heritage Society is dedicated to protecting the French architectural legacy both in France and the United States with particular emphasis on preservation and education.

ARTWALK

The 25th anniversary of ARTWALK NY, benefiting the Coalition for the Homeless, was held on November 18, 2019 at Spring Studios in Manhattan. ARTWALK presented this year by the esteemed Italian fashion house Max Mara and honored the artistic achievements of Katherine Bernhardt and generous philanthropic support of Michael Platt. ARTWALK’s dynamic benefit committee is chaired by Jane Holzer, Maria Giulia Maramotti, Roya Sachs and CANADA Gallery.

The iconic Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Monday, November 4, 2019 at New York University’s Rosenthal Pavilion in New York City, raising vital funds for The Lee Strasberg Creative Center, which has provided scholarships to students for 42 years. This is the first benefit in the school’s storied history. Alumni Alec Baldwin along with Marlo Thomas were the evening’s chairs.
