This year’s Pride Month has been a wild, fabulous ride, and a time to celebrate, honor, and advocate for our diverse LGBTQ+ community. NYC is pulling out all the stops for the grand finale of Pride, and here are some can’t-miss experiences that are happening the last weekend of the festival.
Experience The Red Pavilion's Red Lantern District 1st Year Anniversary Drag Party on 6/28
Head to The Red Pavilion (1241 Flushing Ave) on Friday, June 28th to enter the Red Lantern District, Brooklyn's hottest all-Asian drag show. Red Lantern District is a sex-positive party created by and for queer people of color, where $luts rule and everyone is welcome. Dance, drink, and dish amongst performances from Felicia Oh, Kanika Peach, and Kekoa, with music from the iconic DJ Tito Vida. Experience Drag Brunch Bingo with Androgyny at Clinton Hall On Saturday 6/29
The Mother of all Drag Brunch Bingos has arrived just in time for Pride Month! The queens are ready to slay with Bingo galore and knock-out performances on Saturday, June 29th from 2pm - 4pm at Clinton Hall (16 W 36th St). The kitchen will serve up delicious dishes while NYC’s beloved Androgynous Queen hosts Drag Brunch Bingo. Get lucky this June while dining on brunch delights like Lemon Ricotta Pancakes with Blueberry Preserves, Clinton Hall’s Specialty Breakfast Nachos, or a Smoked Salmon Benedict. The bar will keep the bottomless Mimosas and Bellinis flowing for only $19.99, or toast to the winners with the LOUD N PROUD cocktail, made with muddled watermelon, jalapeño, and your choice of vodka, priced at $16 with a portion of the proceeds supporting LGBTQ charities. Enjoy the First Annual SLAYte PRIDE event at Slate on 6/29
Slate (54 W. 21st St.), an upscale bar, lounge, and nightclub nestled in the heart of Chelsea is gearing up to host its first SLAYte PRIDE event on Saturday, June 29th at 4 pm! This vibrant celebration, set against the backdrop of games and drink specials, promises an unforgettable experience for Pride, with an evening hosted by star performers Chelsea Piers and Androgyny. Enjoy music from DJ Nesto alongside aerialists, games, and entertainment. Renowned for its lively atmosphere and diverse entertainment, Slate’s 16,000 square foot adult playground, complete with three mini-bowling lanes, and a unique 20-foot slide will keep the vibes going till 10 pm, and off a delicious food and cocktail menu with bites and sips for purchase. Adelaide’s Salon Celebrates Broadway Cares with Pride at The Chapel on 6/30
Loulou (176 8th Avenue) is giving back by throwing Pride At The Chapel, a philanthropic celebration at Adelaide's Salon honoring Broadway Cares on Sunday, June 30th beginning at 6pm! The stunning French Bistro and Speakeasy in Chelsea will be teaming up with Broadway Cares, to help fund various community programs and provide grants to more than 450 AIDS and family service groups across all 50 states. Broadway Cares will receive 15% of the evening’s proceeds, plus $2 from every special Broadway Cares PRIDE cocktail sold.
