Elton John Going Out With A Bang

By Aura "Kymi" Manjarrez

Earlier in September of last year, Sir Elton John announced that he'd been on the road for far too long, and that he was ready for retirement. The world welcomed the news with sad hearts but open arms, and so as soon as the dates were announced several shows were immediately sold out.

Even so, there are still plenty of other dates and plenty of websites through which tickets can be acquired. We don't suggest trying to get them through his official website, as most of those have already been bought by resellers and appear as sold out. However, we leave a list below of the sites that do have them.

Ticketmaster

This is your safest bet, although they may not be the cheapest tickets around. All of these tickets are verified and insured, and in case of cancellation the money will automatically be refunded to your account.

SeatGeek

Just like with Ticketmaster, SeatGeek tickets are all verified [meaning there is 0 chance of getting scammed when buying through them]. There are some tickets on this site for shows that don't show up on the Ticketmaster page, so check both sites out to pick the one that's most convenient for you.

Vividseats

Vividseats also offers verified tickets, though their service fees tend to be a little higher than the sites mentioned above. However, a ticket is a ticket, and this is a tour you don't want to miss.

  ViaGoGo

ViaGoGo offers both verified tickets and tickets sold by "folders", or people who resell tickets en masse. Make sure you read carefully and choose correctly!

The Farewell, Yellow Brick Road will conclude next year in his natal United Kingdom, London's O2 being the final venue where he'll play. Though the ticket prices may be high, this is a once in a lifetime experience that we suggest you don't miss!
