@BrendanFallis

@BrendanFallis

To celebrate the fifth annual Negroni Week, participating bars will be seeing red through Sunday with this delectable Summer drink. Presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari.Negroni Week launched in 2013 as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charities around the world.

This year Negroni Week takes place from June 5-11, 2017, when once again, bar and restaurants will be mixing classic Negronis and Negroni variations for a great cause. Here is a list of our favorite spots to go to. Try one, try all it's for charity.

Grand Banks West St & N Moore St, New York, NY  - A celebrated oyster bar aboard the historic wooden schooner, Sherman Zwicker. Inspired by the floating "oyster barges" that lined Manhattan's waterfront in the 18th and 19th centuries, Grand Banks features sustainably harvested oysters, nautically inspired cocktails, and awe-inspiring views.

STK Meatpacking 26 Little W 12th St, New York, NY - STK artfully blends the modern, steakhouse and chic lounge into one - offering a dynamic, fine dining experience with the superb quality of a traditional steakhouse.

Momofuku Nishi 32 8th Ave, New York, NY - Momofuku Nishi (which means “west”) opened in January 2016 and is Momofuku’s first restaurant on the west side. Located in New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood, guests can choose from a la carte offerings for lunch or dinner. Nishi’s Bo Ssäm and Pok Pok x Nishi Fried Chicken meals meant for sharing are also available for dinner.

Ecco Domani Launches Designer bottle by Christian Siriano

Fashion Designer Christian Siriano is known for his flair and colorful collections and is now bringing his designs to your wine. Siriano has collaborated with Ecco Doman with the creation of his Palm Springs inspired bottle that was inspired by his 2016 Resort Collection that the models were dressed in.

Guests were greeted by Christian Siriano while enjoying sipping on the new wine and a specialty cocktail. Models then performed a special runway show wearing the designer's 2016 resort collection, with a bottle in hand. The bright colors and floral pattern can be seen on the Pinot Grigio that offers a delicate floral aroma and a crisp, refreshing finish.

The Ecco Domani delle Venezie IGT Pinot Grigio is made primarily from hand-harvested grapes grown in the high-altitude region of delle Venezie. This signature wine has fruit complexities on the palate of lemon, apple, apricot, and pineapple.  This year’s Pinot Grigio blend gave this wine unique characteristics. With this vintage, Ecco Domani Pinot Grigio presents itself as a rich and mature wine.

Looking to be featured in Food & Wine for your cocktail mixing skills? While your friends may call your signature drink a classic, now is your chance to see what you're really made of by entering the second annual ‘Mionetto Cocktail Challenge.’

In collaboration with Food & Wine, Mionetto Prosecco USA announces the call for submissions for contestants across the country to submit an original Mionetto sparkling cocktail recipe into one of two groups: bartending professionals and consumers (intended for the general public).

After narrowing down the submissions, the top three finalists in each category will be invited to a special mix-off event at the Food & Wine test kitchen in New York City. The professional champion will be featured in Food & Wine and the consumer champion will receive a trip for two to Italy to visit the land of Prosecco. Finalists will be determined by Justin Noel, top NYC-based mixologist, Food & Wine editor, and Enore Ceola, managing director and CEO of Mionetto USA.

“This is a passion project of mine and I am truly honored to be involved in the search for the best Prosecco cocktail recipes from across the U.S. These contestants share our passion for Mionetto and crafting high-quality Prosecco and sparkling cocktails.” Prosecco can bring to a cocktail,”
— Justin Noel

The inaugural challenge in 2016 received over 600 entries, but ultimately two cocktails reigned supreme. On the consumer level, Dassy Pawlik from Buffalo, New York won with her inspired recipe, “Pompelmo Spruzzo,” which took Mionetto’s Brut Prosecco to another level. Meanwhile, the professional winner Patti Scarf from Kalamazoo, Michigan took a refreshing approach with the “Cucumber Fizz,” pairing the flagship Mionetto Prosecco Brut with cucumber, gin, and simple syrup.
