The Waldorf Astoria has been a beacon of timeless glamour for nearly a century—home to Hollywood’s elite, host to countless world leaders, and the site of famed cultural events and galas. Celebrating 90 years open on Park Avenue this year, the building now offers the first ever opportunity to actually own a residence within the property at The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria.

When the Waldorf Astoria opened in October of 1931, it was the largest, tallest, and grandest hotel in the world - built in only a year during the Great Depression. 1931 was a golden age in Art Deco architecture, as the Waldorf Astoria and other iconic New York buildings such as the Empire State Building, on the site of the original Waldorf Astoria on Fifth Avenue, opened within months of each other. Renowned architects Schultze & Weaver, whose other masterpieces include the Sherry-Netherland and The Pierre in New York City, the Biltmore in Los Angeles, and The Breakers in Palm Beach, designed the building that became known as the “unofficial palace of New York.”

Now, the property is in the midst of an unprecedented restoration by developer Dajia Insurance Group and renowned architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, to reopen as a 375-key hotel and 375 condominium residences to be known as The Towers of the Waldorf Astoria. With sophisticated residential interiors and amenities by internationally renowned designer Jean-Louis Deniot, residents will have access to over 50,000 S/F of private residential amenities and all of the services of the Waldorf Astoria New York hotel.

ABOUT MiHIGH

Infrared Sauna Blankets also help boost your immunity. The heat generated by infrared saunas stimulates your body at a cellular level which increases the production of white blood cells. These cells act as your immune system’s first line of defense when an infection strikes

WHAT TO EXPECT

Detoxify faster: Infrared heat is 7x more detoxifying than regular heat. That means instead of just sweating out water, you’re also sweating out toxins that normal saunas don’t have the power to do.

Calmness: Infrared heat allows your body to produce an abundance of calming chemicals. You’ll step out of your blanket feeling happier, less stressed, and you’ll enjoy deep sleep.

Burn Calories: A 30-minute jog burns around 300 calories. A 30-minute session in your MiHIGH Infrared Blanket will burn up to 600 calories. Oh, and you can burn these calories without leaving your own bed.

Broken Shed Vodka, New Zealand’s award-winning, super-premium vodka, today announced its new U.S. creative campaign, “The Vodka of Tomorrow.” The campaign pays tribute to the vodka’s home country by highlighting that, thanks to time zone differences, it’s already tomorrow in New Zealand. And when you’re crafting The Vodka of Tomorrow, you make sure it tastes ahead of its time, too.

Sustainably distilled with the purest New Zealand mountain mineral water, spring water, highest quality whey - and nothing else - Broken Shed Vodka was created to show the world what vodka can be, rather than what people think it should be. It has the clean, crisp taste that can only come from the land where tomorrow begins.

“We developed this new campaign to inject a little New Zealand character and give our U.S. consumers a taste of the ingenuity and forward-thinking that Kiwis are known for,” said Jean-Marie Heins, chief marketing officer of Broken Shed Vodka. “We’re expanding our footprint across the states and introducing new consumers to a smooth, modern product without any additives, sweeteners or GMOs. It’s never too early to cheers to tomorrow!”
