Must Have Cocktails This Winter
Don't let the ice cold weather put you in a seasonal slump. Now that dry January is over you can enjoy such drink for the cold weather. These winter cocktails are the perfect pairing for your comfort food recipes or any cold-weather occasion. Drink up and stay warm!
NIKKA Old-fashioned Coffey Malt
1 oz of Nikka Coffey Malt Whisky
1 piece of brown sugar
3 dashes of cocktail bitters
Orange zest
Rub the piece of sugar against the orange skin to extract its natural oils. Imbibe the sugar with cocktail bitters and muddle in the glass. Add whisky and ice cubes and stir.
Grand Sidecar
1.5 oz. Grand Marnier® Cordon Rouge
.5 oz. Cognac
.5 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Combine Grand Marnier® Cordon Rouge, cognac and fresh lemon juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Strain into prepared coupe glass and serve.
Sweater Weather
5 oz Grand Marnier
5 oz Cardamom Tea Syrup•
0.5 oz lemon
3 dash ginger bitters
Topped with ginger beer
Shake, mule cup, candied ginger garnish
Cranberry Strand
2 oz Montelobos Espadin
1 oz Cranberry Syrup (combine 1 part unsweetened cranberry syrup with 1 part sine sugar by weight, stir and let combine)
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
Combine all ingredients in a tin. Add ice and shake. Strain over fresh ice in a double rocks glass. Garnish with a cranberry on a pick.

Tanteo Chipotle Irish Coffee
2 oz. Tanteo Chipotle Tequila
5 oz. Freshly Brewed Coffee
1/2 teaspoon Granulated White Sugar
1 Teaspoon Brown Sugar
Whipped cream for topping
Add fresh coffee to glass, stir in white and brown sugar until dissolved. Add Tanteo Chipotle Tequila and stir. Top with whipped cream
