Hilary Swank's Former Townhouse Sells To Macy's President
The former West Village townhouse previously owned by Oscar winner Hilary Swank has been sold to Macy's President Harry A. Lawton III for $10.5 million.
The townhouse mixes much of the original woodwork with very modern touches. Sunlight pours into this house and every floor feels very open and inviting with landmark townhomes in front of residential, tree-lined and historic Charles Street and a garden in back.
According to public records, the property is sold from Clyde and Summer Anderson, who run Books-a-Million, which celebrated its 100th anniversary this year, who previously bought it from Swank
Right in the heart of Greenwich Village. the townhouse built in 1899, offers 10 rooms with 3,736 square feet of living space.
The property was represented on both sides with Corcoran – Robby Browne, Chris Kann and Jennifer Ireland Kubis represented the sellers.
