Cocktails To Try This Labor Day Weekend And After

Labor Day: herald as the last hurrah as summer ends and autumn starts in full swing. So for whatever you're doing this labor day, whether it's heading to the beach for one final swim or staying at home to chill out Monday, here are some cocktails to celebrate Labor Day.

If you're planning to go on an adventure, hosting a soiree at home or just relaxing with a bbq, these cocktails will let you unwind as we head to the last days of Summer.


Proper Peaches

  • 2 parts Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey

  • 1/2 part simple syrup

  • 1 peach, diced

  • 3-4 mint leaves

  • Splash of soda water

Muddle peaches, simple syrup & mint leaves in a shaker. Add Proper No. Twelve and fill shaker with ice. Strain into rocks glass over fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with mint leaves and a peach slice


Ginger Kombucha Mimosa

  • 3 cups freshly squeezed orange juice

  • 1 cup ginger-flavored kombucha

  • 2 cups Chandon Brut

  • 24 raspberries

In a large pitcher, combine orange juice and kombucha. Top with prosecco; stir to combine. Put 3 raspberries at bottom of each champagne flute. Pour in kombucha mixture


Clicquot Rich + Orange Peel + Cinnamon Stick

  • 5-6 large ice cubes

  • 2-3 zests of orange

  • 1-2 cinnamon sticks

  • Veuve Clicquot Rich Champagne

    Place 5 ice cubes in a large wine glass, sprinkle in zests of lime, top with Veuve Clicquot Rich, and finish with a stick of cinnamon


Ardberg Daiquiri

  • 2oz Ardbeg Ten Years Old

  • 3/4 oz lime juice

  • 1/2oz simple syrup

    Add all liquid ingredients to a shaker tin, with ice. shake cocktail and fine strain into a coupe glass, garnish and serve.


The Contraluz Spritz

  • 1 oz Contraluz

  • 1 oz Italicus Clear Aperitif○

  • 4 oz Champagne

    In a flute, mix Contraluz and Italicus. Top it off with brut champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Spicy Pineapple Cilantro Margarita

  • 1.5 oz. Casamigos Reposado Tequila

  • .75 oz. Pineapple Juice

  • .5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice

  • .25 oz. Simple Syrup

  • 8 - 10 Cilantro Leaves

  • 2 Serrano Slices or 2 Dashes Firewater Bitters

  • 1⁄2 Thick Rim Equal Parts Salt/Sugar/Dried Cilantro

  • Garnish: 2 Pineapple Leaves and Serrano Slice

    Wet 1/2 rim of glass with lime wheel or wedge, then dip into salt mixture. Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker, then muddle serrano/cilantro. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into a rimmed rocks glass. Add fresh ice and garnish.


The Flirty Shirley

  • 1 oz Pomegranate Juice

  • .5 oz lemon juice

  • .5 oz rose syrup

  • 1 oz vodka

  • 3 oz 14 Hands Rosé

  • Lemon-lime seltzer

    Measure pomegranate juice, lemon juice, rose syrup, and vodka into a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake until chilled (15 seconds). Strain into glass over fresh ice. Add 14 Hands Rose, then fill to the top with lemon-lime seltzer. Stir to combine. Garnish with a Maraschino cherry and orange slice.


Silkie Irish Whiskey’s The Silkie Rua

  • 50ml Legendary Silkie Irish Whiskey

  • 2 dashes orange bitters

  • Ginger ale 

  • Orange wheel.

    Build over ice in a rocks glass, gently stir. Top with ginger ale and garnished with an orange wheel.
