Cocktails To Sip On This Halloween
The pressure is on to dream up inventive and unique Halloween costumes prior to the end of October. While going out is always fun, it’s hard to find a festive cocktail with ghouls cramped up to you. We’ve compiled some of the most festive cocktail recipes you can have during your at home Halloween party that will surely be a hit with every witch or vampire you spend the night with. No tricks here, all treats!
Witches Brew Mulled (Equinox) Red Wine
1 blood orange, zested and juiced
4 cups apple cider
1 bottle Equinox Red
2 cinnamon sticks
¼ cup honey
4 whole cloves
3 star anise
4 blood oranges, peeled, for garnish
Method: To conjure the potion, combine the cider, wine, honey, cinnamon sticks, zest, blood orange juice, cloves and star anise in a large cauldron. Bring to a double, double boil and trouble, and simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Pour into goblets, add an orange peel for garnish
Bitter Sour
1oz Belvedere Vodka
1oz Aperol
.75oz Fresh Lemon Juice
.75oz Simple Syrup
1 Egg White
Method: Add all ingredients to a shaker without ice and dry shake to froth egg white. Add ice and shake for a second time. Strain into a coupe glass and garnish with a brandied cherry.
Pumpkin Spice Latte Volcan Tequila

1.5oz Volcan de mi Tierra Cristalino
1oz Pumpking-Cocnut Emulsion
.75oz Fall Spiace Syrup (Cinnamon, Clove, Star Anise)
.50oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Method: Pumpkin-Coconut Emulsion Method: Combine 1 can of coconut milk and 1 can pumpkin puree in a large bowl and blend with hand mixer or immulsion blender
Cocktail Method: Combine all ingredients, shake and serve over ice. Garnish with shaved cococnut.
Pumpkin Fright (Old Fashioned)
Ingredients
2 parts Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey
¾ parts Bénédictine
2 dashes Angostura bitters
2 dashes Orange bitters
Method: Add all ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir to chill and dilute cocktail, then strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with an Orange slice, Pumpkin Face Garnish
The Spooky Neighbor

Ingredients
2 parts Glenfiddich 12 Year Old
1 part China China
1 part Suze
½ part bar spoon coffee liqueur
Method: Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a double rocks glass with one large ice cube. Garnish with an orange and lemon twist.

Ingredients:
2 oz Slow & Low
1/8 oz Pumpkin infused Syrup* (See below)
½ oz Guinness infused Simple Syrup* (See below)
½ oz egg whites
¾ oz Lemon Juice
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
Cinnamon Shavings, garnish
Orange & White Micro Orchids, garnish
Method: Add all ingredients in a shaker without ice. Dry shake then add ice and shake again. Strain into a coupe and garnish with cinnamon shavings and orange/white micro orchids.
*Pumpkin-Infused Syrup
In a stockpot, add ½ can of pureed pumpkin with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar. Heat to a low boil, stirring to dissolve. Reduce liquid by half. Fine-strain the full batch using a linen cloth or layered cheesecloth. Let cool.
*Guinness-Infused Simple Syrup
¾ cup Sugar
1 cup Guinness or Dry Stout Beer
Combine both in a saucepan over low heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Let cool.
Note: For the at-home bartender, I would recommend keeping it simple by using just simple syrup and maybe ½ oz of a dry stout.
Chai Apple Flip
Cocktail By Rena Day from Besame
1.5 oz wild roots apple cinnamon vodka
1 oz masala chai tea
1oz allspice & clove syrup
1 oz red delicious apple juice
.5 oz lemon
.5 Aquafaba
.5 heavy cream
1 dash cinnamon
Method: Add all ingredients to shaker except cream and aquafaba. Shake and strain into a coupe glass. Shake cream and aquafaba together until frothy with a dash of cinnamon. Layer froth on top. Garnish with cinnamon dipped apple fan

1.5oz Ilegal Joven
.75oz Chinola Passion Fruit/Guava Syrup Batch
2 Orange Wheels in tin with liquids
2 Sprays of orange blossom water from an atomizer
GARNISH: Red rose petal
Method: Over top of a rocks glass. Allow mist to fall naturally over the top of the glass. Shake / Rocks Glass / Single Strain over fresh KD ice / Half-rim black lava salt / 1 Marigold / 2 Sprays orange blossom water
NOLET’S Silver Corpse Reviver
1 oz. NOLET’S Silver Gin
1 oz. Lillet Blanc
1 oz. Cointreau
1 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
1 dash of Absinthe
Orange Peel for Garnish
Method: Shake all ingredients together in an ice-filled shaker and strain into a Martini or coupe glass. Garnish with an orange peel.
Smokey Pear and Pumpkin Sour
2 parts Bombay Sapphire East Gin
.75 parts Pumpkin puree
.5 part Xante Pear Brandy
.5 part Simple syrup
.75 part Lemon juice
.5 part Egg white
GARNISH: Pear slices and cinnamon
Method: Combine ingredients and shake hard, serving up or down in glass. Garnish with pear slices and cinnamon.
Geb’s Reviver
1.5 oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
.75 oz Pineapple lemon oleo
.5 oz Lemon juice
.5 tsp Matcha powder
GARNISH: Dehydrated rhubarb & carrot powder
Method: Shake gin, lemon, juice and matcha powder and pour into glass. Top with Oleo foam, dusting powder garnish on top.
D’USSE BOO-ZY PUNCH
1 750ml Bottle- D’USSE Cognac
52 oz- Fresh Brewed Tea
18 oz- Simple Syrup
20 oz- Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
25 Dashes- Angostura Bitters
GARNISH: Orange Wheel
Method: Combine all ingredients into punch bowl and stir
Bloody Dutch Sour
1.25 oz. Ketel One® Vodka
0.5 oz. apricot liqueur
0.75 oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. honey crisp apple cider

3 Parts Hendrick’s Gin
.5 Part Chambord
1 Part Fresh Lemon Juice
1 Part Lavender Syrup
Dry Sparkling Wine (to top off)

1 Jar Green Olives
Bloody Mix:
¼ c. tomato juice
Pinch horseradish
1 tsp. Worcestershire

1 lemon, fresh squeezed
Black pepper & celery salt to taste
Eyeball Ice Cubes: Remove green olives with pimento from a jar. Replace pimentos with black olive slices and place in ice cube trays to freeze in ice.
Method: Pour Bloody mix and vodka over eyeball ice cubes.
