7 Tips On How To Include Hemp Oils In Your Yoga Routine

Hemp oil, otherwise commonly referred to as CBD oil, complements yoga very well as they can both help to heal aching muscles, reduce inflammation and increase your energy levels. Adding CBD oil to your yoga routine can naturally improve the mentals benefits of yoga by helping to reduce anxiety and promote a state of calm. 

Cannabinoid oil doesn’t contain the compound THC which gets people high, however, that doesn’t mean it can’t have a positive impact on your yoga sessions. In fact, there are quite a lot of differences when it comes to cannabinoids vs terpenes, so it's important to look into this before experimenting with the products. The fact that hemp oil doesn’t get you high means it is safer to practice yoga and other exercises, as well as adding further wellness benefits.

1. Take A Tincture 30 Minutes Before Your Session

Hemp salves allow you to locally apply the hemp oil and only feel the effects of the CBD rather than the whole body effect you get with tinctures which can make you sleepy during a session if the dosage is too high.  

3. Hemp Oil Capsules

CBD supplements can also come in capsule or pill form, which is a good alternative for those who do not like the taste of CBD oil when taken as a tincture. Capsules are also more convenient so they can easily be taken shortly before doing yoga, although the speed at which the CBD takes effect will be slower than a tincture as your digestive system has to break down the capsule to release the CBD.

Drinking a CBD-infused drink before, during, or after a yoga session can help you mellow out and get into the flow. 5. Massage With Hemp Oils

If you have been working out a lot lately and would like to loosen up before a yoga session then having a massage the day or a few hours before is recommended.
