On Monday, March 2nd, The Bronx Museum of Arts will celebrate it’s Visionaries Duo Gala, its biggest fundraiser of the year, taking place at Capitale in New York City. For the first time, the gala will honor visionary duos who have made strides within social justice, education, and art, including comedians Desus Nice & The Kid Mero. The evening will be emceed by curator Larry Ossei-Mensah and feature special performances by musicians Maluca and Young Paris.
Known for their late-night SHOWTIME comedy series “Desus & Mero” and breakthrough podcast “Bodega Boys”, the comedians are being honored in recognition of their steadfast pride and support of the Bronx, and their insightful pop culture commentary.
