Goya Foods' Swine & Wine With Bodegas Montecillo

Sunday Funday…but make it Latin! That’s the unofficial tagline of this Festival favorite that pays tribute to the vibrant Latin food culture whose roots run deep throughout South Florida.

During this year’s South Beach Wine & Food Festival the Swine and Wine walk around tasting will offer delicious swine-centric preparations, along with wines from Rioja’s Bodegas Montecillo. The Latin inspired pork dishes will be prepared by local chefs in unique saucy and succulent recipes perfectly suited to pair with the staple Bodegas Montecillo Albariño and Bodegas Montecillo Reserva.

Spend the evening dancing, sipping, and sampling swine-centric dishes and drinks alongside Miami’s favorite radio host, Enrique Santos and Goya Foods’ Executive Chef Fernando Desa, both of whom will be on hand at the historic Biltmore Hotel to present an elite lineup of local chefs eager to dish out their tastiest Latin pork preparations – one saucy, succulent, and seriously delicious bite at a time.

Date: Sunday, February 16th

Bodegas Montecillo was born in Fuenmayor, one of the towns with the longest history and tradition in the Rioja Alta. Bodegas Montecillo crafts quality wines with a unique personality, through their state-of-the-art location and the selection of the best raw materials to deliver age-worthy wines. Today, it symbolizes the philosophy of the winery: a vocation and a character, stemming from the origin and foundation of what is found in the vines. Bodegas Montecillo manages to be coherent and offer consistent quality year after year, thanks to the rigorous selection of grapes, deep experience of aging in barrels and bottles resulting in wines that stand out for their elegance, complexity and balance.
