Where To Eat This Easter In New York

If you still haven’t thought of Easter brunch then you may want to give up on cooking a meal yourself, New York has a plethora of favorite brunch spots for the upcoming holiday weekend. Restaurants are now opening and rather than slaving away in your tiny kitchen, we suggest you treat yourself and your family to some of the city’s hottest restaurants. Not sure where to go? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered, for take in or take out.

The Beatrice Inn

The Beatrice Inn be bringing back our very popular Easter packages back for you to bring home. They feed 3-4 people and are some of our most beloved items from when the Beatrice was open: 60-Day Dry Aged Prime Rib, bordelaise or, Beatrice Inn Roast Duck Flambe, cherry jus, Pommes Puree, Green Salad with Herbs & Caper Dressing, Apple, Brown Butter & Sage Pie

The Easter Packages are $325 and will be available for pick up or delivery from Thursday-Friday this week, however, all orders must be placed by 3pm on Wednesday. They will be in the office today answering the lines from 11am-3pm, as always, you may reach us at 212-675-2808.

Brooklyn Chop House

Visit Brooklyn Chop House at 150 Nassau Street will open early for brunch at 12pm on Easter Sunday.  Lamb gyro dumplings and lamb chops with warm mint jelly are on the menu along with the downtown restaurant’s signature dry aged steaks, salt and pepper lobster and chicken satay.

Ten Hope

Located at 10 Hope Street, will be open Easter Sunday beginning at 12 noon. In addition to their complete brunch menu, Ten Hope will be offering the Salmon Lox Toast with cured spiced Salmon Lox, whipped goat cheese, ribboned pickled cucumber and microgreen salad on crispy sourdough bread. Mimosas and Bloody Mary’s will be $10 all day long on Easter Sunday and if you’re in the mood for Lamb, try Chef Travis McGinty’s Kofta Burger. 

Kellari

Located at 19 W. 44th St., Kellari will celebrate Easter by offering a 3-course menu for $55 per person available from 11:30am - 9pm. For the first course enjoy a choice of Kale Caesar Salad, Tuna Tartare, Calamari, Vegetarian Keftedes or Soup Imeras. The main course includes a choice of Whole Lavraki, Lamb Shank, Kotopoulo featuring roasted antibiotic & hormone free local chicken served with grilled seasonal vegetables, Vegetarian Makaronada featuring Fusilli with seasonal sautéed vegetables and homemade red sauce and Psari Imeras, the Chef’s daily seafood special. Indulge in dessert with the choice of Housemade Traditional Baklava, an Artisanal Goat Milk Gelato Selection or Yogurt Cake. 

American Brass

(2-01 50th Avenue) in Long Island City will offer an early dinner from 2pm - 9:15pm featuring a three-course prix fixe menu for $75 per person, which includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. Children eat for $25 and reservations can be made by visiting, https://www.americanbrasslic.com

Kintsugi

In Soho (28 Grand Street) will offer up seasonal Hotaru-Ika aka firefly squid with shiso leaf, aburi sawara, seated and Smoked Spanish Mackerel in their Kintsugi omakase on Easter Sunday, which is $175, and begins with a sashimi plate and appetizer, then moves onto 15 selected pieces of seasonal nigiri, a chef's choice hand roll, Tamago, a miso soup and seasonal dessert. If you don't want to splurge, there are omakase offerings that range in price from $65 to $125 per person. Bubby’s

On April 4, enjoy classic brunch specials like Bubby’s famous sourdough pancakes, flaky buttermilk biscuits, avocado toast, fried chicken, and of course pie. All are available on Bubby’s daytime menu, served from 8am to 4pm. This year, Bubby’s will also be offering a special Easter ham plate.

Via Vai

An authentic Italian restaurant, located at 31-09 23rd Ave in Astoria, is serving an Italian-style Easter dinner four-course prix fixe menu for $75, with the option to add a wine pairing for $30 more per person from 1pm to 11pm. Michelin-recognized Chef/Owner Antonio Marchini hand-makes the pasta each morning. The menu includes, fan favorites like Fois Gras al Torcion and Seared duck breast with hazelnut mashed potatoes, raspberry reduction and blueberries, and dolce You can find Via Vai’s Easter Menu here. Citarella

 La Goulue,

The Michelin-recognized French bistro on the Upper East Side, will be offering the perfect experience on Sunday, April 4th that your readers won’t want to miss. Helmed by legendary and award-winning Executive Chef Antoine Camin, the restaurant will feature a two-course prix fixe Easter Brunch menu where guests can choose an appetizer and main selections such as French Toast or the shrimp and lobster roll.

The brunch will include a complimentary selection of fresh baked croissants, chocolatine, lemon cakes and raisin danishes. La Goulue will also feature specialty bottles of Prince De Lise Blanc De Blancs. The special Easter menu is priced at $56.
