It’s finally fall and it’s finally the time to do all the fall activities we all love to do. Whether it’s visiting haunted houses or pumpkin picking or just enjoying the cooler weather, we can all agree there’s something fun for everyone. This fall we’ve compiled a list of our favorite spots to visit for pumpkin/apple picking in New York and Connecticut so you can have fun this fall.

F&W Schmitt

26 Pinelawn Rd, Melville, NY

Named the best pumpkin picking on Long Island, F&W Schmitt’s Family Farm is all about celebrating families and the tradition of pumpkin picking. F&W Schmitt is great for pumpkin picking but also has a 7-acre corn maze that is open on the weekends, free hayrides, playgrounds and inflatables, farm animals and pony rides, farm stands, daytime and nighttime haunted houses. This location is great for the kids but also has great food and drinks that really brings out the fall experience.

 

Outhouse Orchards

139 Hardscrabble Rd, North Salem, NY

Outhouse Orchard is a family-owned and operated orchard that is one of a kind. Visit Outhouse Orchard and be able to see the Croton Falls and pick apples straight from the trees, pick your own pumpkins, find your way through the corn maze, and enjoy a hayride.

Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm

1335 White Hill Rd, Yorktown Heights, NY

Celebrating their 103rd year of harvest this 2019 season, Wilkens Fruit & Fir Farm is surely a location you don’t want to miss. This farm sells a wide variety of apples, pumpkins, and peaches which all you can pick yourself. Wilkens also includes a corn maze, three farm markets, a bakery and a winery. Wilkens is perfect for the kids but also a great option for just adults.

 Hank’s Pumpkintown

240 Montauk Hwy, Water Mill, NY

This location has it all: pumpkin picking, apple picking, corn mazes, wagon rides, tractor train rides, giant slides, games, playgrounds and more. Hank’s Pumpkintown is perfect for a day of fun, a day of good food and good company and it’s open every day until Halloween.           

Augustine’s Farm

1332 King St, Greenwich, CT

Offering fresh fruits and vegetables that are picked daily, Augustine’s Farm is the place to not only go pumpkin picking but also to snag the best produce.
