Silver Oak Partners with Jackson Wiederhoeft for a Unique Cabernet-Dyed Look at NYFW 2024

Silver Oak, the iconic American winery, has teamed up with CFDA finalist Jackson Wiederhoeft for a standout collaboration at New York Fashion Week 2024. Presented at the “MANIFESTO” show on September 10th, the partnership unveiled a bespoke runway Look 16, dyed with Silver Oak’s newly released 2020 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The ensemble—a hand-embroidered salon corset and a mid-calf wasp skirt made of double-faced silk satin—underwent two dyeing processes using the Cabernet Sauvignon, capturing the wine's deep, rich hues.

The show’s exclusive invitation was etched onto bottles of the 2020 Silver Oak Alexander Valley vintage, bringing together the artistry of wine and fashion. Guests toasted to this unique pairing at an afterparty held at KYU, celebrating the seamless blend of craftsmanship from two distinct fields. Silver Oak, known for its dedication to quality and tradition since 1972, extends its influence beyond winemaking with this collaboration, supporting creativity in all forms.

The 2020 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, a blend aged for 24 months in American Oak, provided the perfect dye for Wiederhoeft’s design. The partnership marks a new chapter for Silver Oak, aligning its passion for mastery with Wiederhoeft's innovative approach to fashion.
