Along with lots of job opportunities and high salaries, Connecticut is relatively safe. It has one of the lowest crime rates in the nation too. In 2015, there were 219 violent crimes per 100,000 residents. The very safest cities as of 2018, include Weston, Wilton, Ridgefield, Easton and Madison.
