Super Bowl 2023 Predictions: Bookmakers’ Favorites

Super Bowl, the event that determines the winner of the National Football League (NFL), will take place on Sunday 20 February 2023 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. As the grand finale approaches, more and more US and international bookmakers are sharing their odds on the favorite teams to win.

Right now, the odds are on 32 different teams to become the reigning champions of the NFL, and we have reviewed which teams look the most promising according to various online bookmakers. So, let’s take a look at some Super Bowl predictions and what sportsbooks have to say about the anticipated outcome.

Buffalo Bills (+450 to +350)

The Bills seem to be the favorites for next year’s edition of the Super Bowl, which mainly is due to their status as number one in the AFC. The odds seem to fluctuate between +350 and +450 depending on the bookmaker, so we will have to see what happens as we are getting closer to the NFL final. To be honest, we think the truly New York team deserves the spot as one of the teams in the NFL despite some slip-ups.

Kansas City Chiefs (+550 to +450)

The Chiefs have been favorites since the preseason, making them second favorites after the Bills among various bookmakers. The team is led by the superstar Patrick Mahomes who is expected to bring the Chiefs close to the title of national champions. Although having lost to the Bengals, we do not think it is anything that can stop them, but rather make them stronger.

Philadelphia Eagles (+500 to +475)

One team that seems to have performed surprisingly well this year is the Eagles, whose odds are relatively low at many bookmakers right now thanks in part to their wins over the Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings. Let us also not forget that the Eagles are said to have the second easiest schedule this year, which definitely could make them a Super Bowl 57 contender.

Dallas Cowboys (+800 to +650)

The Dallas Cowboys have participated in more Super Bowls than any other team in the NFL, winning five out of eight of them. On the other hand, the team has not participated in the Super Bowl since 1996, so fans are split on whether they could actually have a chance at winning this year. But let us not forget when they defeated the Minnesota Vikings in Week 11, which caused the odds to plummet.

San Francisco 49ers (+1200 to 900)

So far, the 49ers have beaten teams like the Los Angeles Rams, the Seattle Seahawks and the Carolina Panthers. They have, however, lost to the Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs. With the team's prime defense and great coaching staff, they have a chance to go far, but at this stage, they are unlikely to win the final - not least because quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo will miss the rest of the season due to a broken foot.
