Are You A Golfer? You Might Like These Cool New Games

It’s easy to see why golfers become so quickly obsessed with their sport: it combines technical expertise with a love of the great outdoors. There’s the chance for competition and an opportunity to socialize with friends.

It may be that you have trophies on your shelves and pictures of celebrity sports people on the walls. You may also be someone who enjoys golfing games, be they real or virtual. If that’s the case, you will enjoy this discussion of the most popular ones in 2021.

Golf Simulators

Golf simulators offer to take things up a level by allowing people to practice indoors, which is great news if it’s pouring with rain outside! People can sharpen up on their swing and ball handling, and receive instant feedback too. There are even loads of golf courses from which to choose.

If you’re interested it’s probably best to first check out the relevant sites online. There’s helpful advice on cheap golf simulators including the best mobile versions costing less than $1,000. You can decide whether to buy pre-built versions or ones you make yourself. It’s also possible to discover whether the simulators would work on your PlayStation or Xbox, PC or Mac computer.

XBox 1

In August 2020 the ‘PGA Tour 2k21’ came out, and it’s one of the most popular golfing games today. There’s the option to go multiplayer (local and offline) and to enjoy the split screen functions too. If you’re ready for it, you can start playing against pro players and progress along with the career mode for added realism.

If you have a wild side and enjoy letting off steam, why not try ‘Dangerous Golf’ which tops the list of popular games in 2021. It combines golf playing with bombs and destruction, whether it’s a champagne bottle or a china shop. There are loads of obstacles to avoid and rooms you can teleport to. You can join up to seven other people online for a game, laughing as the Smashbreaker meter gets overloaded by all the action.

PS4

Because you can use over 100,000 user-created courses (or design your own) you’ll never get bored with ‘The Golf Club 2’. It’s designed to emulate real life as much as possible, as you enter tournaments and compete against other people.

Once again you can progress in your virtual career and select different play modes as you go. It’s not a game that will break the bank, either.

PC

‘The Golf Club 2019’ isn’t the latest game, but it’s still riding the crest of the wave as potentially the best golfing sim ever. If you’ve watched tournaments that occurred at TPC Scottsdale Stadium or TPC Sawgrass you’ll be amazed at the attention to detail in these virtual recreations. Don’t worry if you want more variety, as there are thousands more courses from which to choose.

If you fancy a real chuckle, check out ‘What The Golf?’ It’s easy to get right in there and start playing this hilarious arcade-style game. Each level has a different theme that emulates things like Super Mario Brothers, Donkey Kong and more. Whether a person enjoys golf or not, they will soon be laughing at the varied challenges posed by each successive level.

Android

‘Golf Rival’ was created by GR Sports Club, and it allows you to play with other people online. As with all Android apps you need to first access it from the Google store. Whilst there are comprehensive training notes, you essentially swipe your finger as a club to take a shot at the ball.

Mobile Sports Time created a hugely popular game called ‘Mini Golf 3D City Stars Arcade’. It features the possibility to win and unlock new levels whilst playing and talking with the other contestants.

Iphone

Whilst these phone apps are usually inexpensive, they can provide hours of fun for anyone. ‘Golf Clash’ works on Android and Iphone smartphones, allowing you to go on ever more challenging tours. Another game that requires you to simply swipe your finger is ‘WGT Golf’, making it accessible for both professionals and novices

‘Golf Boy’ has lots of engaging features and it challenges you to hit the ball as far as you can. There are also stats displayed and prizes to be won.

It’s clear to see that golf fanatics never need to be bored. They can stick close to their magnificent obsession whether it is by playing in real life or by harnessing modern technology. Whether it’s a virtual simulation or something on their smartphone, fun is guaranteed for all.
