YAO, the modern Cantonese restaurant from the team behind the renowned August Gatherings and two iconic New York establishments, H&H Bagels and Sarge’s Deli, to celebrate the longtime tradition of Chinese and Jewish communities coming together during the holiday time.

YAO will be teaming up with both businesses to create a unique menu for two limited-time collaborations this month: with classic Jewish deli fare to create fun, innovative dishes for the quintessential Jewish Christmas such as Peking Duck Bagel Sandwiches and Pastrami Fried Rice.

YAO x H&H: Bagel Sandwich Collab (December 16-20 from 12-3pm)

• YAO will be collaborating with H&H Bagels, the beloved New York City bagel shop that has earned appearances on Sex and the City and Seinfeld, to offer three fusion bagel sandwiches:

• Alaskan King Crab / Roasted Chicken Bagel - Crab Rangoon-inspired Bagel Sandwich with cream cheese, microgreens, caviar 

• Truffle Duck Bagel $23 - Peking Duck Bagel Sandwich with cream cheese, mushrooms, microgreens, truffle ($23)

• Sandwiches cost $23 and will be available at YAO [213 Pearl Street, 2nd Floor] between December 16-20  from 12 - 3 PM (reservations can be made here).

YAO x Sarge’s Deli: Jewish Holiday Specials (December 22-26 during lunch and dinner)

YAO is partnering with the iconic New York destination Sarge’s Deli, which has served the city for 55 years, to offer a special supplementary menu the week of Christmas that includes the best of both worlds with dishes like:

• Sarge’s Matzo Ball w/ YAO Kabocha Soup ($18) 

• Fried Rice w/ Sarge’s Pastrami with onion, string bean ($30)

• Ma Po Tofu w/ Sarge’s Corn Beef with mushrooms ($30)

• Ox Tongue Stir Fry with asparagus, onion ($32)
