Catch Surf and Red Bull have come together to bring the world’s most fun surf competition to Long Beach Island, NJ on June 26th! Red Bull Foam Wreckers, a new event series from the mind of surf phenom Jamie O’Brien, is a surfing event where only foam (soft-top) surfboards are allowed and all skill levels are welcome to compete. It’s that simple. 

Long Beach Island will be one of 13 national stops, across 5 different bodies of water, for the first-ever soft-board surf series contest tour. Open to anyone 16+, surf enthusiasts around the nation will compete against other soft-top surfers for the chance to win various prizes for the most fun, creative surfing. Participants will also be able to meet soft-top heroes (and judges for the day) such as Ben Gravy, Kalani Robb, Tyler Stanaland, and more of the Catch Surf team. 

Once designated as a wave-riding craft strictly for learners, the “foamie” has seen an explosion in popularity and innovation, and everyone from casual surfers to the world’s best are jumping on board.
