On November 10th, from 5pm-8:30pm, Majora Carter’s Bronxlandia will come alive with the vibrant artistry of "Dancers Every Night," a free-to-the-public art exhibition. This unique showcase will feature the talents of The Gun Hill Six, a collective of emerging Bronx artists led by Robert Berardi. Formed in response to the rise of NFTs, AI, and daily content creation, this exhibition marks their second public display. Over 20 paintings and fine-art prints will be exhibited, set against the backdrop of the former train station's existing graffiti. Attendees can also indulge in snacks, refreshments, and purchase prints, t-shirts, and other merchandise.
The Gun Hill Six is a testament to the Bronx's enduring spirit. Among its members are Nicholas Dwamena (Kofi), a Ghanian-born painter; Annjonnette Gooden (AJ), a printmaker; Jade Rosario (Dezzy), known for her bold figures; Dana Leon (DAY), who uses art as therapy; and Estelle, a multi-media artist from Lehman College. This event promises an immersive experience, blending the old with the new, and celebrating the rich tapestry of Bronx's art scene. Don't miss out on this artistic extravaganza!
