Ruinart champagne and the New Museum’s upcoming “Forever First” Mixed Reality Pop-Up as I thought your readers may be interested in the immersive experience, which launches Friday, January 24 and will run over the course of two weekends.

For the first time ever, the New Museum’s iconic top floor Sky Room will be transformed into an exploratory lounge and champagne bar, offering visitors the chance to step into Virtual and Augmented Reality projects by members of its cultural incubator, NEW INC, all while enjoying Ruinart champagne and taking in sweeping city views.  

On display January 24-26 and February 1-2, 2020, the pop-up will invite museum goers to experience the power and fragility of nature through two mixed reality projects: Tree, created by NEW INC alumni team Milica Zec and Winslow Porter, and Dawn Chorus, a new work-in-progress by current member Reese Donohue in collaboration with artist Sarah Meyohas.
