NY Handmade Collective, formerly known as Etsy NY, is thrilled to partner with Grand Bazaar NYC, New York City’s largest and most dynamic curated weekly shopping market at 100 West 77th Street, for a special Mother’s Day Pop-up.
This special pop-up shopping experience on Sunday, May 8th from 10am - 5pm, will prominently feature a curated collection of 22 artisans and designers from NY Handmade Collective. This special event will kick off the summer outdoor market season, offering shoppers a unique opportunity to personally meet the Etsy artisans behind these distinctive, handcrafted products and come away with memorable purchases.
“Part of our mission is to support top local independent artisans and makers by providing them with superior in-person retail opportunities that create Win-Win-Win experiences for shoppers, merchants, and our city”, said Marc Seago, Executive Director at Grand Bazaar NYC. “By creating such unique quality shopping experiences, we help keep New York City creative and vibrant, while doing good.”
Shoppers will find one-of-a-kind designer crafts, exclusively handcrafted and locally-made from an array of exceptional goods such as fine art, jewelry and unique fashion, stationery, home décor and amazing ceramics, skincare products, and items for children. In total, there will be over 140 independent merchants to discover, shop, and eat.
Besides supporting local artisans, independent dealers, and food entrepreneurs Grand Bazar NYC donates 100% of its profits it receives from vendor fees to four Upper West Side public schools, benefiting over 2,000 children. For Mother’s Day it is a fantastic way to support independent local artisans and local public school children.
