On July 20, NoMo SoHo guests will have the chance to learn how to make their own rum drinks in the class Rum Mixology Spotlight: The Daiquiri AKA The Bartender’s Handshake.

Guests will step inside Nina’s x Liquid Lab and be greeted with a freshly prepared welcome cocktail. Once the class begins, renowned bartenders and rum connoisseurs Michael and Brooke Toscano will teach guests about all things rum, from its general history to the story behind the Daiquiri cocktail, a drink known to challenge even the best of bartenders. The class ends with guests learning how to make two classic rum cocktails that they can taste for themselves. The class runs from 6-8 p.m., and tickets can be purchased via Pulsd or Eventbrite.

After the class, guests at NoMo SoHo can experience SoHo with a view thanks to their rooms’ 10-foot, floor-to-ceiling windows offering a panoramic glance at the city skyline. They can also get a taste of rustic American cuisine before the class at the iconic restaurant NoMo Kitchen complete with an outdoor patio perfect for summer evenings.
