Event Description: Get ready for a night of girl power and laughter that'll leave you in stitches! D’yan Forest, who has recently received the Guinness World Records title for Oldest Working Female Comedian in the World, joins the first all-woman roster for Andy Engel’s New Talent Showcase at Gotham Comedy Club on November 13th at 7pm.

Forest, who has been noted by critics as the “naughty version of Betty White” and has appeared on SNL, Comedy Central, France’s Incredible Talent, and The Drew Barrymore Show, will share the stage with fellow powerhouse comedians including Emma Willmann (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend), Vannessa Jackson (SNL, Colbert), Karen Bergreen (The View, Gotham Comedy Live) and Ashley Austin Morris (Fleishman’s in Trouble, Inventing Anna).

As November is known as the month of giving, guests are being asked to bring a gently used or new bra, which will be collected at the comedy showcase. The bras will be donated to a local NYC women’s shelter.

The night also marks the launch of Andy Engel’s Women Only Stand-Up classes at his esteemed Manhattan Comedy School. The class promises to be a transformative experience for aspiring female comedians, offering a platform for women to hone their craft and find their unique voice in the world of comedy. It transcends just being a comedy class in that it is also a networking and support group for women.
