The art scene is as much an integral part of the Hamptons as a lobster roll in Montauk. For decades, the Hamptons has been a vacation destination for people in the arts and deep-pocketed collectors as Bloomberg recently pointed out - "New York's Hamptons are fast becoming an arts destination." Driven by Covid, a new kind of artist community has been created on the east end and passionate art collector Nitin Gambhir is joining the fold with the introduction of Southampton's newest art destination - Tethys Art. Tethys Art, located at 71 Hill street in the heart of Southampton Village, will showcase groundbreaking art and will bring together collectors, artists and curators and will highlight Transformative Art through a series of curated exhibitions and events. Nitin founded Tethy's Art to bring the quality of the "New Yorker" art world to prime locations worldwide throughout the year and is starting with Southampton. Nitin is deeply interested in exploring the interplay between disparate artists and art genres and uncovering the connections that bind and connect them. I would love to introduce you to the Founders of Tethys Art, Nitin Gambhir and Elena Ulansky by way of a phone call. They are both available to run through their plans for their summer art series. ABOUT THE FOUNDERS:Nitin Gambhir is the founder of Tethys group of companies and the founder and chairman of Oceanus Securities. Nitin has been a passionate supporter of art both as a collector and a sponsor. The Tethys Art platform was created to promote his two passions: Transformative Art and art genre explorations. Nitin is also deeply interested in exploring the interplay between disparate artists and art genres and uncovering the connections that bind and connect them. Nitin has a Bachelors from the Indian Institute of Technology and a Masters from Yale University. He is a member of the board of several charitable organizations. He is passionate about charitable efforts promoting art, education and governance.
