Ilegal Mezcal and Momotaro Apotheca are teaming up May 13-21 to host workshops, parties, and events focused on practicing sexual & self care, drinking responsibly, and looking after each other.
Created by Kaylan Rexer, CMO of Ilegal Mezcal and Lindsay Wynn, CEO & Founder of Momotaro Apotheca, the shoppable pop-up encourages partying with the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’re in a safe space with a community that celebrates you.
Workshops, parties and events during the pop-up raise awareness towards looking after each other, drinking responsibly and practicing sexual and self care. Embark on prideful festivities with the assurance of self-care and all essential ways to make sure you and your crew stay safe and feel your best.
"We created Ilegal's Brooklyn headquarters to be a community gathering place, whether that be around art, music, education, or with other brands that share our values. The upcoming pop-up with Momotaro Apotheca is centered around Pride. The company and its team are fierce advocates and a safe place for the LGBTQIA+ community,” says Kaylan Rexer, CMO of Ilegal Mezcal. “Its CEO, Lindsay Wynn, is also an incredible commercial photographer and artist; she has shot pretty much all of Ilegal Mezcal's still imagery. And on a personal level, Lindsay is my magnificent partner in many of life's endeavors. These two brands are deeply connected in a plethora of ways. I know people will be inspired by the events and the community they bring together."
“I couldn’t be more excited to join Ilegal Mezcal on this journey. Creating a physical space for our LGBTQIA+ folks has been a long term dream of Momotaro Apotheca. This ‘pre-pride’ activation feels like the perfect way to honor our brand's mission of creating, proactive, inclusive and thoughtful spaces for our community,” says Lindsay Wynn, CEO & Founder of Momotaro Apotheca.
