Hudson River Park Annual Gala to honor Michael R. Bloomberg, Founder of Bloomberg LP and Bloomberg Philanthropies and 108th Mayor of New York; Chef/Founder of Momofuku, David Chang and actor/director/artist Lucy Liu. The evening will be hosted by Sandra Bernhard and will feature a special performance by Jake Shears (of Scissor Sisters). Gala Co-Chairs are Sukey and Michael Novogratz, Diana L. Taylor, Michael Corbat, Mia Jung and Scott Lawin, Paula and Eric Madoff, Lee and Justin Sadrian, Ingrid Arneberg, and Sarah Grados. Additional guests to include: Aidan Quinn, Tyler Cameron, Megan Harper and others.

With the final 25% of the Park now under design & construction, there’s much to celebrate at Hudson River Park’s Annual Gala. One of the longest riverfront park’s in the nation, Hudson River Park is Manhattan’s west side backyard. Running from Chambers to W59th Street, it has transformed four miles of decaying industrial piers and wharves into a 550-acre urban recreational paradise. Hudson River Park attracts millions of visitors to its myriad sports facilities, educational, environmental and cultural programs, imaginative playgrounds, lively dog parks and lush green lawns, waterfront esplanade and the Hudson River Greenway bike path. Hudson River Park is NOT a city park and relies on community support and private donations for its daily maintenance, operations, and public programming.
