Marking 20 years of bringing yoga to the masses, Bryant Park’s wildly popular wellness series returns. Bryant Park Yoga presented by Essential Costa Rica makes it easy for New York residents and visitors alike to incorporate yoga into their lives by offering twice-weekly classes on Tuesday mornings and Wednesday evenings from May 31 through September 27.
Once again, the series features a stellar line-up of more than 30 of the region’s top yoga instructors, offering participants the opportunity to experience different styles each time they visit. Bryant Park Yoga takes place Tuesdays at 10 AM on the Upper Terrace (excluding July 4), and Wednesday evenings on the lawn at 6 PM from May through August, and at 5:30 PM starting in September.
“Twenty years ago, we started one of the first free outdoor yoga programs in New York City. It has grown from a handful of participants then, to sometimes over a thousand yogis on the lawn in recent years,” said Daniel Biederman, Executive Director of Bryant Park Corporation. “We’re always delighted to be joined by so many yoga enthusiasts.”
Collaborating with Bryant Park for the first time as the presenting partner, Essential Costa Rica will enhance select classes. Other partners include: POPSUGAR, the official media partner, and returning partners Lifeway Foods and Miraval Berkshires Resort & Spa.
Registration is required and can be booked at bryantpark.org. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats and arrive early in order to reserve their spot (mats are not provided).
