The craft beer craze will take over Brookfield Place – the premier shopping and cultural destination on the Hudson River in Lower Manhattan – for the third year on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 4 to 9 p.m. on February 5 to 13. The iconic Winter Garden will transform into a classic biergarten showcasing 15 of New York City’s top breweries from the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island.

The Winter Biergarten will highlight craft offerings from five breweries each day with 100% beer sales benefitting Brookfield Place’s charity partner, Leave No Trace, an organization that provides innovative education, skills and research to help people care for the outdoors.

The first three nights will feature 15 breweries from all boroughs including the Bronx’s Bronx Brewery, Brooklyn’s Circa Brewing Co., Manhattan’s female-founded Talea, Bridge & Tunnel Breweryfrom Queens, and Staten Island’s Flagship Brewing Company to name a few. Visitors will be invited to cast a vote for their favorite beer to determine which five breweries will make it to the final round on Thursday, February 13. The People’s Choice winner will be determined by the event’s attendees, guided by New York State beer connoisseur, Anne Becerra.

The event is free to attend for guests over the age of 21, with beer to purchase. Food from Brookfield Place eateries is available for purchase throughout the festival via the Ritual app. Participating BFPL restaurants are Northern Tiger, Num Pang, Skinny Pizza, Blue Ribbon Sushi, Parm, Chopt’, For Five Coffee, Mighty Quinn’s, Seamore’s and Umami Burger.
