Happy National Riesling Day! Chateau Ste. Michelle, Washington’s founding winery and #1 producer of Riesling in the U.S. is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of diverse expressions of Riesling, combining old world techniques with new world attitude.
In addition to the flagship Eroica 2021 Riesling , we’ve included three different Rieslings on varying levels of sweetness. These award-winning Rieslings are made in partnership with Ernst Loosen, owner of the 200-year-old Dr. Loosen Estate in Germany’s acclaimed Mosel region.
Chateau Ste. Michelle 2021 Dry Riesling : The Chateau Ste. Michelle Dry Riesling is a dry, refreshing style of Riesling with beautiful fruit flavors, crisp acidity, and an elegant finish. It offers inviting sweet citrus aromas and flavors.
Pairing Suggestion: This versatile and flavorful wine would be enjoyable on its own or with food. Try it with light pasta and rice dishes, grilled fish, and a wide array of cheese. Their winemaker Katie Nelson loves to pair this wine with oysters.
Chateau Ste. Michelle 2021 Riesling: This Columbia Valley Riesling is a blend of Riesling from throughout Washington’s Columbia Valley. Chateau Ste. Michelle 2021 Harvest Select Sweet Riesling: This Harvest Select Riesling is made in a slightly sweeter style than our Columbia Valley Riesling but still shows the classic Chateau Ste. Michelle Riesling character. It offers rich flavors of ripe peaches balanced with crisp Washington Riesling acidity. It’s like a bowl of fruit in a glass!
