Coral Gables, Florida - Bay 13 Brewery & Kitchen is launching the first annual “Woop Woop” Fest in celebration of Australia Day on January 21st. Experience the festival from 5pm - 9pm with unlimited beer tasting from 30 breweries, live bands by Latin Grammy nominees, backyard barbecue from local restaurants, curated vendors and activations for children and families. This event is in partnership with the Australian Consulate and Embassy and is a not for profit event that provides support to a local cultural institution, The Coral Gables Arts Cinema.
Bay 13 Brewery and Kitchen, of Melbourne Hospitality Group, is continuing its tradition of celebrating Australia Day in the Coral Gables community. This year they are expanding the festivities and diversifying into a unique craft beer festival with a flare of cultural education, community involvement, and growth of the local craft beer and brewery scene. “Woop woop” signifies a location that is far away but you can celebrate Australia Day here in the heart of Miami without making the 10,000 mile trek.
General admission to Woop Woop Fest includes unlimited beer from a 20+ craft breweries such as Unseen Creatures, King Fox, Sunlab, Unbranded, Lincoln’s Beard and more! VIP ticket holders can enjoy early access to the event, an indoor hospitality suite with liquor and wine tastings, an array of Australian cuisine, a cooking demonstration with Australian Chef Aaron Brooks , exclusive merch, brewery tours, after party admission and a ticket to the Brewers Brunch on Sunday, January 22nd.
Working with the Coral Gables Art Cinema, Bay 13 is pleased to announce that proceeds from Woop Woop Fest will benefit this local state-of-the-art theater that aims to to inspire, engage, and enhance our community through the powerful medium of great film. The music programming at the festival will also support local Latin Grammy nominees with performances by Los Wizzards, Ale Mor and a third surprise band.
