On March 24 from 6:00 PM to 10 PM, Verde at the Perez Art Museum Miami will be hosting a “Tiki-riffic” Luau Event. Verde will be activating Cucuyo, the restaurant’s tropical outdoor bar, for this event. Guests are invited to mingle at the breezeway to enjoy live music and cocktail samples of Diplomatico Rum’s signature Rum Fizz. Verde will also be premiering a new cocktail menu that will be on happy hour every Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
These drinks include:
The Verde Spicy Margarita made with tequila Ancho Reyes Verde, and lime
The Mangonada which is a flavorful combination of Casamigos tequila, ripe and green mangos, lime and chili syrup
The Verde Tonic which includes freshly-pressed cucumber juice, sweet lime, Bombay Sapphire and tonic.
In addition to the complimentary bites, Chef Jeremey Shelton has curated a number of menu items. The star is a slow-roasted pork prepared in a traditional Cuban caja china, which will be on display on Verde’s waterfront portico. Verde will have a full dinner menu available for purchase.
The event will host two musical sets from talented artists, Marquise Fair and DJ Blueinski. You may have seen Marquise Fair on American Idol in 2018. The renowned solo-artist will perform a set with a mix of Motown, Bob Marley, and original songs. During the second half of the night, DJ Blueinski will take over with some Caribbean vibes.
