After three years in the making and highly acclaimed by the food community, Jaffa is set to debut the expansion of its popular Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine concept to Hallandale’s rising neighborhood with a brick and mortar restaurant on February 15. Helmed by Executive Chef Yaniv Cohen, Jaffa attracts locals and visitors alike with its Kosher-style, Glatt kosher meat and dairy-free menu as well as a vast array of vegan dishes accompanied by an authentic Mediterranean and Israeli wine section.

Jaffa is known as the oldest port city in Tel Aviv with picturesque alleys, art galleries, ancient buildings and an abundance of Middle-Eastern restaurants. The city inspired Chef’s flavors and aromas and the restaurant’s sights and sounds. Just like Jaffa’s vibrant city, guests are greeted with an authentic and colorful 45-seat dining room and bar area combined with Israeli design elements throughout the space.

“I’m delighted to bring Jaffa to the Hallandale neighborhood to offer a destination where guests can enjoy good-tasting food, a trendy atmosphere and lively entertainment all in one spot,” says Executive Chef Yaniv Cohen. “When guests visit the restaurant, I want to give them an experience and a true taste of my heart and my authentic Israeli dishes.” Chef Yaniv, known as The Spice Detective and author of My Spiced Kitchen and winner of Netflix’s season finale Best Leftovers Ever, grew his passion for food at an early age.
Jaffa will transport guests to feel like they are in the Middle East with entertainment and special late-night parties. The experience will include belly dancers, music by Israeli DJs and drink specials.

Jaffa is open for dinner six days a week Tuesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Lunch along with Saturday and Sunday brunch will come soon.
