Art Basel is around the corner, but you don’t have to be a major art collector to appreciate Miami Art Week. State of Kid, the hybrid concept combining a boutique retail experience and enrichment classes for children, has a lineup of activities that will have your little Picassos unleash their creative side.

State of Kid will have art-themed, drop-in classes throughout the week for kids ages 0-8. Art engages children's senses in open-ended play and supports the development of cognitive, social-emotional and multisensory skills, and what better time to introduce children to modern art than Miami Art Week.

Additionally, State of Kid will partner with Basel Buddies and artist Tiago Magro for a special event in which kids will craft for a cause on November 30th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Design District location. Proceeds from the event will aid Basel Buddies in their mission to empower underprivileged youth through art.
