Jack & Jill Center – the longest running nonprofit provider of early childhood education in Broward County – is celebrating 80 years of helping children and families in the South Florida community. To commemorate its anniversary, Jack & Jill Center will host an 80’s-themed event, presented by H.I.G. Capital, at Coral Ridge Yacht Club on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 6:30 p.m.
Dust off your leg warmers and tease your hair as Jack & Jill Center celebrates the best decade yet! This totally awesome 80’s event overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway will feature 80’s themed décor, delicious drinks, fabulous food, dancing and a live performance by the Marcia Mitchell Band. Party-goers are welcome to attend in cocktail attire; however, are given a hall pass to celebrate the theme by wearing quintessential '80s fashion including bright neon colors, bold prints, teased and crimped hair and shoulder pads.
Since 1942, Jack & Jill Center has remained steadfast in its mission to strengthen children and families through innovative education, supportive programming and community engagement. Jack & Jill Center supports children of high-need working families through quality early childhood education, elementary education and family strengthening programs to ensure every child and family has the tools they need to be successful. In the past 80 years, Jack & Jill Center has served over 26,000 children and families in South Florida.
