“City of Tomorrow”—now in its third consecutive year—unites key players and innovators from the worlds of architecture, real estate and interior design for an incomparable two-day symposium with a host of interactive workshops and panel discussions on timely and provocative topics.
Opening night features keynote conversations with the world’s most esteemed architects including Annabelle Selldorf and Rafael Viñoly, as well as the leaders responsible for ensuring our City—its buildings, infrastructure, transportation, and public places—will be viable and thriving for future generations.
On Saturday, curate your day by visiting a selection of panels occurring in different venues throughout 92Y. Chefs Thomas Keller, José Andrés and Missy Robbins will join a panel who exemplify how a restaurant can help anchor a neighborhood through innovative culinary outposts. Additional panels will discuss resiliency for New York, how to build a better city, how architects are turning to nature for better building solutions, the “we” revolution, New York’s islands transformed, design that makes you healthier, and what’s new in new development, among others.
