Luke Marantz 'Pallas'

Event Description: Luke Marantz, “Among the best young American jazz pianists” –NPR, is a New York City based pianist from Texas. He has toured across the U.S., Europe, South America and Japan playing at such venues as the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles, the Pit Inn in Tokyo, the Panama Jazz Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, the Pori Jazz Festival, the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, the Monterey Next Generation Jazz Festival and the Vail Jazz Festival. Having appeared as a sideman on recordings alongside musicians such as Dayna Stephens, Gilad Hekselman, Jason Palmer and Walter Smith III, his debut solo piano recording “Embers” was released in March of 2019.
