Your Guide On Where To Eat & Drink At New York Fashion Week

 

It;s the most fashionable time of year as New York Fashion Week starts, the streets will be filled with Influencers, Models & Editors in a scurry, even more than usual. We've compiled the best places to grab a bite between the shows. Here are our best places to be see and be seen during NYFW.

Bagatelle

Bagatelle will be celebrating its 10th Anniversary in NYC, will serve up a #FashionablyLate dinner price-fix menu during New York Fashion Week from 9/6-9/12 from 9pm - 11pm. The $45 3-course menu created by new Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli, starts with a first course in the form of bubbly followed by a choice of appetizer and entrée with the option to add in dessert for an additional $10.

Sugar Momma

FiDi’s newest sexy new dining and cocktail destination.  The restaurant and bar is housed inside a cafe by day called Hole in the Wall but transforms at night when the red light gets turned on.  A red neon sign that says "Hello Gorgeous" invites guests in to come in and stay awhile since after-work is the new after-hours at this new hotspot.

A modern Italian-American restaurant and bar in New York City’s West Village. Nestled on the corner of Greenwich Ave and West 12th, Don Angie is an innovative new dining destination for a creative approach to Italian fare in one of New York City’s most charming neighborhoods.

Don Angie marks the third collaboration of husband and wife chef team Scott Tacinelli and Angie Rito, formerly of the acclaimed pop-up restaurant dinnertable, and Quality Italian, where they invented the renown “Chicken Parm Pizza”. Scott and Angie’s deep Italian-American roots, as well as their numerous trips to Italy are on display at Don Angie, where guests will enjoy nods to Italian-American family favorites and references to regional Italian traditions as they are reinvented with a Modern American dining sensibility.

Yves

Located on the corner of Greenwich and N. Moore Street in TriBeCa, Yves is a 46-seat neighborhood restaurant by Matt Abramcyk and Akiva Elstein. Recently revamped by Chef Alex Baker, Yves, showcases classic French cuisine with her own personal touch. Her vision for the dishes at Yves is to have them be upscale yet still approachable.

Chef David Bouhadana’s underground omakase destination located beneath The Sanctuary Hotel in Midtown Manhattan, inside and outside of Jue Lan Club in Chelsea.  At each location, 8 guests at a time are invited to experience a 12 piece, 30 minute, $50 omakase. Both NYC restaurants are open seven days a week for lunch and dinner and have a text-only reservation platform making it the perfect quick bite before or after a show.

For another quick bite head to Areppas, which offers wholesome Venezuelan dishes for any meal of the day.  Whether you’re a strict vegan diet or a carnivore, Areppas has menu items to satiate any craving.  The fast-casual experience combined with thoughtfully homemade food made with all natural ingredients will nourish your belly and feed your mind.

the stylish and colorful new Middle Eastern restaurant (opened this past May) located in NoLita between Prince and Spring right by a bunch of the shows. Just in time for Fashion Week: Avocado Pita, a new take on Avocado Toast with Persian cucumber, radish, red onion, lemon vinaigrette, tahini, umbah, zhoug and basil. It will be available all month long. Plus, the restaurant’s design aesthetic makes it an ideal spot for Fashion Week enthusiasts.

Tavern62 by David Burke

Guests can indulge in David Burke’s Nauti Oysters, freshly shucked Cape Cod oysters spritzed with Nautical American Gin, which has an oceanic aroma with hints of pepper, lemongrass and grapefruit. Chef Burke also dresses with oysters in a Gin Mignonettetopped with crushed pistachios. A meal as fashionable as it's guests.
