The New Sunscreen You'll Want To Wear All Summer

Catherine Doolan

Are you ready for a new sunscreen that has an SPF of 50 and will protect you all day long?  Shiseido has created a new sun protecting lotion that surfers love!

Shiseido’s new sunscreen Ultimate Sun Protector Lotion SPF 50+ Sunscreen is ocean-friendly and Hawaii-compliant, meaning there is no oxybenzone and octinoxate in the product. Shiseido focuses on ocean conservancy and the surfing community in their products.

Shiseido has partnered with the World Surf League (WSL) and is now the official sunscreen of WSL. The campaign for this new sunscreen features two surfers in the top 20 professional surfers, Lakey Peterson and Sage Erikson. The campaign consists of two films, one shot in Australia, and a 4-minute YouTube video that stars the two surfers telling their stories.

The innovative new sunscreen utilizes SynchroShield™ Technology which uses a mix of WetForce and HeatForce. WetForce being negative ions in the formula combine with positive ions in perspiration and water to create an additional layer of invisible sun protection. As you continue to sweat and get wet, the product becomes more effective. HeatForce, a heat-sensing essence in the formula becomes activated by external heat, forming a stronger barrier. Provides elevated sun protection when it in the presence of heat or warm temperatures.
