Even while people may say the city is dead, new development is still coming. As new Condo’s are set to launch this Fall these snazzy building will sure bring life back into New York City.

The West

Located at 547 West 47th Street, on 11th Avenue between 47th and 48th Streets near the Hudson River waterfront and developed by CBSK Ironstate a partnership between CB Developers SK Development and Ironstate Development is developing The West a new construction condominium development rising in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood. Concrete the critically acclaimed design firm is responsible for the architecture and interior design. The West is the Dutch-based firm’s first luxury condominium development in New York City. Concrete has designed high-profile projects around the world including the first Virgin Cruise Ship the CitizenM hotels in NY London and Amsterdam.

The Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood has seen very little new condo inventory in the last 3 years. Coming up there is expected to be only about 100 units set to hit the market, separate from those numbers The West will offer 219 units. The West has 25,000 square feet of carefully curated amenities. This includes two guest suites that residents can book for visitors a communal kitchen named Hell’s Kitchen which is a nod to the surrounding neighborhood a rooftop pool deck gym dog run children’s playroom and other areas. Set to launch in September 2020 prices start at from $910,000 for studios.

Located at 368 Third Avenue, Minrav Development is developing VU. Paris Forino, the acclaimed designer, is crafting light and airy interiors to complement VU’s soaring ceilings and panoramic New York City views. Renowned firm SLCE Architects is designing the building’s architecture. VU features 100 residences including studios to 3-bedrooms.

VU has a full floor of carefully curated amenities, including a fitness center, lounge, media room, roof deck and more. Sales are expected to start in the coming months and prices start at $829,000 for studios. Brown Harris Stevens Development Marketing is handling sales.

378 West End Avenue

Located at 378 West End Avenue  by Alchemy Properties is developing 378 West End Avenue, a ground-up 18 story new luxury condo on the former location of Collegiate School. Cookfox Architects is designing the exterior and interior.

Over 11,000 SF of amenities spread across three floors. 75 foot long pool with locker rooms and saunas, squash court, basketball half court, sports simulator room, fitness room, music room with a recording studio, yoga and barre studio, club room, reading room, outdoor garden, terrace, children’s playroom, pet grooming room, onsite garage with covered parking, bicycle storage
Most specific estimation of sales/leasing launch: Late fall 2020. Compass & Alchemy Properties are handling the sales.

Located at 181 East 28th Street, by Forkosh Development Group, C3D Architecture, Interiors by Lemay + Escobar. The project features a curated collection of best-in-class amenities including a full service 24-hour attended lobby with fireplace, landscaped roof terrace featuring a 360-degree city view, residents’ lounge, and a duplex fitness center featuring dedicated cardio and weight rooms. Additionally, almost half of the residences have significant outdoor space of over 300 square feet. Estimation of sales/leasing launch: Early Fall 2020 with pricing starting under $1MM
