Sales launch at Studio Sofield's Beckford House & Tower in the UES

With prices ranging from $2 million to over $20 million, Beckford House & Tower, two complementary residential buildings on New York's Upper East Side has announced sales of the first available listings are live at Beckford House and Beckford Tower.

Both buildings - currently under construction at 301 East 81st and 80th Streets respectively - have features just not seen in new buildings: formal separate dining rooms, grand entry parlors, and work from craftsmen and artisans hand selected by Sofield from all over the country, including Vermont Stone Art, Remains Lighting and Nathan Allan Glass Studios.

“My vision for the buildings was to extend the 79th Street Park Avenue Corridor eastward and become anchors in an architecturally rich neighborhood,” said William Sofield, the founder and principal of Studio Sofield. “The private facilities and communal spaces within the tower are unabashedly amongst the most luxurious in the City.“

The amenities include a private lounge and piano bar, an expansive rooftop terrace, fitness center and yoga studio, full equipped game room, children’s playroom designed by Roto and over 3,000 square feet of wellness amenities, including a double-height basketball half-court, fitness center, yoga and training studios and a 65-foot indoor swimming pool.

Sales at Beckford House & Towers are managed exclusively by Douglas Elliman Development Marketing, with prices ranging from $2 million to over $20 million. Closings at Beckford House are anticipated to begin in Q2 2020, while closings at Beckford Towerare slated for Q2 2021.
