Real Estate Developers Hope Art Will Lure In Millenials

By Shaunna Redman

Tappan and the Oskar apartments are coming together to bring the hype back to fine art. Tappan and Oskar’s collaboration is a first-of-its-kind partnership. Art appreciation and collecting have been dwindling for a while, but Tappan and Oskar are trying to bring it back by showcasing some pieces from Tappan in the Oskar apartment building.

The Oskar apartment building is also allowing their residences to partake in Tappan’s services such as complementary art advising and curatorial services. Oskar residences can also enjoy a discount on artwork purchased through Tappan.

We are thrilled to partner with Oskar and The Moinian Group in New York City to provide residents with easy access to valuable and incredible art pieces that will truly elevate their homes. Tappan's goal is to change the relationship between collectors and artists - and with this first-of-its-kind partnership, we hope to encourage millennials to embrace collecting and minimize the intimidation that is so frequently associated by giving them access to our team of expert art advisors. Says Tappan Founder Chelsea Nassib

Tappan hopes that this will allow for art to be brought back into everyday conversations. Along with that, they also hope to change the relationships between artists with their work, and art collectors. Tappan founder Chelsea Nassib wants for this project to allow more people to embrace collecting art, while also minimizing the intimidation that is associated with working with her team of art advisors.
