Inside This Crazy Rich Asian's Producers Newly Listed Apartment
Sidney Kimmel, SK Global founder, and famed movie producer of “Crazy Rich Asians” philanthropist and apparel mogul, just listed their 50 Central Park South apartment for $39,500,000. Sidney is also the founder of the Sidney Kimmel Foundation, which has donated hundreds of millions to cancer research, established The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts in his hometown of Philadelphia, and grew to prominence by founding fashion empire Jones New York, now Nine West Holdings.
The property, which encompasses the entire 27th floor of the Ritz on Central Park South, has been featured in Architectural Digest, designed by world-renowned designer Thierry Despont. There’s over 8,000 square feet both interior and exterior, with a 53-foot terrace directly overlooking Central Park, as well as a 40-foot terrace off the kitchen.
There’s a beautiful corner dining room, full gym, and an epic master suite that spans an entire wing of the apartment, with his-and-hers dressing areas, offices and baths. The Ritz-Carlton Residences is made up of only eleven homes, which enjoy all the services of the world-class hotel, but with their own private entrance and dedicated staff.
