Inside The Shoppable Art-Filled Residence For NYCxDesign
Last week Sir David Chipperfield’s, The Bryant launched a brand new unconventional and shoppable model residence for NYCxDesign, showcasing how to live with art rather than view it in a gallery.
Curated by Standard Arts with furniture and objects sourced from Objects of Common Interest, artworks have been selected from a series of contemporary New York-based artists with international backgrounds, including Anne Deleporte, Ana Lucia Cano, G.T. Pellizzi, Gustavo Prado, and Sei Smith.
All artwork and furniture will be available for sale, and private tours of the residence may be arranged throughout the duration of the exhibition.
The Bryant is the first ever residential condominium built on Bryant Park and the first ground-up residential tower in NYC designed by internationally celebrated British architect David Chipperfield. Chipperfield’s signature on the building is the facade, composed of custom terrazzo panels, giving the building a distinctive reflective color and framing incredible views of Bryant Park to the north and the Empire State Building to the south. The terrazzo and marble finishes continue throughout the lobby and apartments, providing the entire property with a consistent voice and a high-end, classical elegance.
