Harry Macklowe's love letter to NYC

Historic developer Harry Macklowe has created an eccentric new short film to promote one of his newest condominiums, 200 East 59th Street in New York City.

Mixing a concoction together of his love of the arts with his love of New York, the animated film features animal characters with the backdrop of the city showcasing all of the buildings unique charms. The film focuses in on amenities including the grand terraces and 10 foot ceiling heights.

“We made this film because we felt it was a subtle way of telling the story of the building – how friendly, welcoming and forward thinking it is as a residence,” Macklowe said.

200 East 59th Street is a 35-story, 67-unit tower, complete with Macklowe’s modernist style. Modernism has always been a staple in Macklowe’s past projects. The building is made up of a mix of one bedroom and two bedroom apartments, as well as penthouses. Amenities for residents include ample bicycle storage and a laundry room with commercial washer and dryers. Residents will also have access to a double height fitness center that overlooks the landscaped wraparound terrace which is complete with plenty of seating and eating areas. Indoor seating is also available in the double story lobby centered by a large marble fireplace.

One to three bedroom apartments at 200 East 59th Street start at $2.05 million while the penthouses start at $15.07 million.
