Flights of Fancy: Lenox Hill Neighborhood House Spring Gala Raises Critical Funds for New Yorkers in Need

On May 2nd, the historic Cipriani 42nd Street played host to a spectacular evening as more than 500 supporters and friends of Lenox Hill Neighborhood House gathered to celebrate the annual Spring Gala, aptly named "Flights of Fancy." This elegant black-tie fundraising event, renowned as the nation’s premier tabletop event, successfully raised critical funds to support 16,000 New Yorkers in need, reinforcing the mission of the 130-year-old nonprofit.

A Night of Elegance and Generosity

The evening was a testament to the power of community and philanthropy. More than 40 renowned designers showcased their talents, creating elaborate and breathtaking centerpieces that added a touch of magic to the celebration. The event honored Board Member Thomas L. Melton and presented the prestigious Elizabeth Rohatyn Award for Community Service to the New York Health Foundation and Lifespire, recognizing their exceptional contributions to the community.

Diana Quasha served as Gala Chair Emerita, leading an impressive roster of supporters. Notable Dinner Sponsors included Thomas & Ingrid Edelman, Stanley Shuman, and Wilkinson Global Asset Management. The event's Benefactors were a distinguished group, including Neha Motwani-Lepanto & Dan Lepanto, Yesim & Dusty Philip, Saara Pritchard & Thomas Melton, Marianna & Juan Sabater, and Edward & Julia Weld.
