American Airlines: Wine in the Sky
American Airlines has just announced that they are introducing a new plan to have hourly flights between New York and Chicago. The most exciting part of these new “shuttle flights” American will offer their passengers free wine and beer, a first among their domestic flights.
American Airlines already offers “shuttle flights” between LaGuardia, Boston’s Logan Airport, and Washington D.C.’s Reagan National. Check-in-times will also be extended, as another perk for shuttle flights.
While wine, beer, and even on some routes hard liquor have been free for international flights American decided to change that policy. The airline commented that this is an attempt to improve flight experiences. The shuttle flights from the Big Apple to the Windy City begin on April 4 and will make around 15 flights a day on weekdays.
